Happy New Years guys! I hope everyone had a great holiday with family and friends! I've been majorly slacking on my blogs but I will give myself the excuse of "It was Christmas break" and I also have exams after the holidays, which sucks but I am back on schedule!  I decided to bring in this new year not with the typical thought in mind "New Year, New Me" but with a New Vision. "New Year, New Me" doesn't automatically bring a sudden change within you and to be honest I just find the phrase an empty promise. Most of us never even keep up with the things we say we would throughout the year and lets be honest, some of us just use it because its a good Instagram caption. I think I am falling in love for the first time and it's with myself!         You must be thinking how does one get to that point? Well for me, it hasn't been a short process but instead, a long journey because, let's face it, falling in love with yourself is an ongoing task but I believe it's the most important one. Loving yourself is making the conscious decision to accept who you are, flaws and all. It's also you deciding to go against the popular ideas of a social media-driven culture, which can be quite damaging to self-esteem. In my opinion, being positive and learning how to love yourself is the hardest thing to do, it's, even more, harder than being negative and putting yourself down. I know what you're thinking, you must think I'm insane right? I mean who decides to just pick up and move to a country they have never been to and a town they have never heard of before! Hey all! This is long overdue but welcome to my personal blog.   Before jumping right into it... I should probably tell you guys more about myself and how I, a girl from Canada (who has never been to Europe AT ALL), ended up finishing her final year of Uni in Spain!         I'll start by saying that this year has been a whirlwind of a year.
