Moonlight

Under watchful gaze
You follow me
Lighting up the stage
Waves crash into one another
Violently slapping tiny grains
Sunken footsteps fade away
Roaring sound of you carries
As something magical calls me out to sea

I dive in underneath the moonlight

Another year has gone by and boy has it been a big year of change, bad and good... Your probably wondering how could there be any good that has come out of the past year but trust me when I say that light shines through darkness and you can always find the good even in the bad. Yes,  2020 was a year of despair and fear but it was also a year of reflection and deliverance (at least for me). It  was definitely a year of change. A change that was uncomfortable and unsettling. A change that has led a lot of us to stop and reflect on our lives. A change that has been "a wake up call," as it showed us that we are not in control. The first question to ask is: Are  you happy with yourself? How often do you guys come across a movie, novel, social media, or even real-life where a person is intentionally single and is truly happy? Not often right... it all mostly portrays relationship goals. I'm sure you've all heard about intentional dating where you are not dating just to date but have a goal at the end of it, which is marriage. Well... it's the same with being intentionally single except the end goal is to be the best version of yourself and to learn to love yourself, which is even more important to do before entering any relationship.
